Director of Innovation in Biomedical Assessment in the Health Area of the Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV).
José David Garrido Jaén holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and holds the position of Director of Innovation in Biomedical Assessment in the Health Area of the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV).
Throughout his professional career, he has participated in multiple R&D&I and technological development projects in the field of health, functional assessment, active and healthy ageing, as well as in the improvement of quality of life.
Currently, he focuses his efforts on promoting innovation among the different agents in the sector, such as manufacturers of health and social care products and services, administrations, medical groups and other national and international research centres, combining needs, visions and developing integrated solutions that respond to the major challenges facing our society.
